MVAA Summer Stars Concerts 2012!
Tables on sale March 14th! 9:30am
All of the concerts are free unless you would like to rent a table that seats 8 for
$25. So bring your blanket, chair and enjoy the shows! Refunds are not given if
it rains; you can switch your table to another concert if available. If it is the last
concert of the season your fee will be considered a donation to MVAA. MVAA
is a non-profit that works along with The Art Place to raise funds, provide programs
and entertainment, charitable works and scholarships to youth and
adults for classes or areas of study in the arts. The lawn opens at 7pm for
seating and shows start at 7:30pm. Sorry, no alcoholic beverages allowed.

May 20th: Company 2012
Company 2011 from CCCEPA ends their season of “Dance and
Shout” Broadway song and dance that always gets us off to a

June 2nd: “The Mixx”
New to The Art Place/MVAA line up, THE MIXX will get you up
out of your seat to dance to your favorites! Their song list is long
and you will be able to ask for your favorites as well as their regular

June 15 & 16: Cabaret Camp Presents : “9 to 5” the musical.
Cabaret Summer Stock HS Performance Camp will provide you
with music, dance and laughter as they perform a musical that
they have worked on for two weeks! You will be blown away by
the professional talent and entertainment you can find right here
in Cobb area schools!

August 25th: Jason Thomas: Man in Black:Johnny Cash
Tribute! Johnny Cash's music has been heard and enjoyed by
many generations of music lovers from all walks of life. This performance
is a sure way to please your audiences for the music is
tried, true and loved. There's only one act that could have done it
better and that would be Johnny Cash himself. For more info and

September 8th– The Ballybeg Band—Irish MUSIC returns to
TAP! Ballybeg is the name of six Irish villages, meaning small village.
Our ballybeg is really a state of mind. Even miles from the
Emerald Isle at each Ballybeg gig you will find yourself magically
spirited away to your favorite Irish pub with all your pals. So raise
